True Pain

If you want to know what true pain is...I'll tell you.

True pain is opening up yourself to another and allowing all of them to permeate you as
"It feels so natural to open up to you."
you absorb them.
Doesn't sound painfull,actually sounds devine.
To share someone else and have them share you....delightful!!

Not the way it works.
"Whoa..sensory overload!"
You must remember that you only know you,...not what you are about to absorb.
The feelings and emotions that are unloaded upon you are foreign and confusing.
To make sense of them all is a daunting task to say the least.

"Guess what kinda day I'm having!"
Add to that the dynamics of each persons personality.
Are they censoring themselves or being fully open?
"Wow..did she just say that?"
Are they at a stable place in their life or are they "working on it"?

Our own "true pain" is in every feeling ,word and emotion that we transmit to others.
When we tell them our secrets or show them our vulnerable side ,we give them some of
our pain, and in return we accept some of theirs.

Here comes the "TRUE PAIN"!!
"You don't get it!"
THAT PAIN HURTS YOU BOTH!!!
Whether it was an honest feeling, emotion or an experience from the past and

("Why won't he listen?".."Why won't she listen?")
you both must find a way to face that.

True pain can be the most devastating ,debilitating feeling ever!!
It can paralyze and even kill.

I have the word "pain" in my name actually,so I carry "true pain" with me daily, and have used that
term in my personal life often, only recently being able to explain the meaning to others.

It can also heal. Yes..true pain can be used to heal.
If you both can see that the give and take of pain is part of the process,
it can make living less painfull.
